Like Nature's Garden, Dr. Abeeja is a well-established brand name of natural medicinal products sold throughout Ecuador. (Note: The brand name is an Spanish-to-English transliterate play on words: "abeja" is Spanish for "bee.") The focus is on the creation of therapeutic apiary products with unique medicinal properties. Unfortunately, all of their packaging and informational materials are in Spanish. In working with a wide variety of ailments that confront our customers, our doctors felt that select products from this line -- which are all competitively priced -- would be a helpful addition to the products we ourselves already manufacture.

Crema de Propóleo -- comes in three sizes: (50 g. -- $9.95)

Crema de Propóleo is an "external-use only" topical approved in Ecuador for the treatment of:
  • Rheumatism & arthritis
  • Muscle pain
  • Aches and pains in the back, neck, and feet.
  • Nail fungus (hands and feet)
Ingredients: Honey, bee pollen, propolis, and royal jelly.
Advisory / Precautions: Keep out of the reach of children. If symptoms persist consult your medical practitioner. In case of irritation suspend use. Keep the container tightly capped at room temperature no higher than 86 F. Store in a dry place. Do not apply for a long time or in large areas. In case of excessive irritation, immediately suspend use and consult your medical practitioner.
Therapeutic Properties / Indications: Antiinflammatory, analgesic, indicated for reducing inflamation, acting directly at the site of the pain, eliminates and accelerates relief, indicated for muscular pain and traumas, such as sprains and strains.
Instructions: Apply the creme topically up to three times a day.Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to antiflammatories or steriods. Active peptic ulcer. Severe renal failure. Hypersensitivity to aryl carboxylic acids.


Crema Nutritiva --(50 g. -- $24.95)
Crema Nutritiva is an "external-use only" topical used for:
  • Skin Moisturizing
  • To keep the skin soft and supple
  • Rosacea, eczema, acne, allergies
Ingredients: Water, liquid parafin (parafinum liquidum), honey, polyacrylamine & C13-C14, Isoparaffin & laureth-7, theobroma cacao seed butter, glycerin, pollen, beeswax, prunus amygdafus dulcis oil, propolis extract, fragrance, phenoxyethanol (and) caprylyl glycol (and) chlorophenesin, triethanolamine, tocopheryl acetate, royal jelly.
Advisory / Precautions: For external use only. In case of irritation, suspend use.
Therapeutic Properties / Indications: Makes the skin soft, shiny, a nourishes the skin, repairs lost hydration and improves elasticity. For all skin types.


Elixir Real --(300 g. -- $19.75)
Elixir Real is an apiary nutraceutical with the following properties, listed according to the contributions of each ingredient:
  • Royal Jelly -- Stimulates cardiovascular circulation. Improves digestion and retards aging of the skin. Helps to regulate blood sugar. Hydrates the skin. Improves mental development of children.
  • Propolis -- Potent anti-oxidant. Has antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and anticancer properties.
  • Bee Pollen -- Has human growth factors. Potentiates brain function and improves memory.
  • Honey -- Broad nutritional and therapeutic properties.

Jabón de Propóleo --(100 g. -- $5.76)
Jabón de Propóleo is a luxurious, aromatic, medicinal, apiary soap.
It now comes in three distinctly scented varieties: Cream, Honey, and Dark.
Ingredients: Glycerine, honey, bee pollen, propolis extract, royal jelly, BHT, and fragrance.
Properties: Cleans and hydrates the skin, coadjutant in the treatment of skin conditions, including acne, as well as bacterial, viral, and fungal infections of the skin. Helps with rosacea, eczema, and is an effective after-all care product in connection with the use of Cansema.


Propóleo Spray --(50 ml. -- $11.95)
Propóleo Spray is a topical spray and can also be used internally (usually sublingually) for treatment purposes:
  • Antiinflammatory / immune modulator.
  • Antiseptic, antimicrobial, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral.
  • Coadjutant in the treatment of respiratory ailments.
  • Helps with coughing, flu, and tonsillitis
  • Skin conditions / wound healer / naturally helps heal the skin
  • Adjuvant with infections of the genitourinary and digestive tracts.
  • Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant.
Ingredients: Pure sugar cane alcohol, propolis extract.
Doses: Adults - 20 drops per day.
Children under 12 : 1 drop per each year of age, per day.

Propóleo 10% Spray --(20 ml. -- $5.95)
Propóleo 10% Spray is a smaller version of Propóleo Spray above with a special applicator for treating nasal congestion and spraying into hard to reach places.
Ingredients: Pure sugar cane alcohol, propolis extract.
Doses: Adults - 20 drops per day.
Children under 12 : 1 drop per each year of age, per day.
Properties: Same as Propóleo Spray above: antibacterial, antifungal, antiinflammatory, helps with coughes, flu, tonsillitis, respiratory ailments. Similar to Sangre de Drago, this spray is excellent in helping wounds heal.

Shampoo de Manzanilla is a shampoo with additional properties stemming from the addition of honey and royal jelly:
