Nature's Garden is a well-established brand name of natural medicinal products sold throughout Ecuador by natural products manufacturer, Carvagu, S.A. Unfortunately, all of their packaging and informational materials are in Spanish. In working with a wide variety of ailments that confront our customers, our doctors felt that select products from this line -- which are all competitively priced -- would be a helpful addition to the products we ourselves already manufacture.

Benzogarden ® -- Code: NG103 / Price: $9.00
Benzogarden® is a topical cream effective in the treatment of:
  • Acne, pimples & blackheads.
  • Fungal skin conditions.

Additional benefits: Helps clean the skin and re-establish its equilibrium, purifies the skin by helping to eliminate dead cellular debris.
Ingredients: The product contains 80 g. of the cream, which itself contain 400 mg. of salicylic acid and 400 mg. of benzoic acid, and excipientes.
Advisory / Precautions: Avoid contact with the eyes. Keep out of the reach of children. If symptoms persist consult your medical practitioner. Keep the container tightly capped at room temperature no higher than 86 F.
Instructions: Wash the area of application thoroughly. Apply a small amount one to three times per day, lightly massaging the product into the skin with each application.



Aceite de Copaiba ® -- Code: NG105 / Price: $9.95
Copaiba is yet another natural medicinal that we are well familiar with. This product is approved in Ecuador for the following properties / conditions:
  • Gastric ulcers.
  • Anti-scarring.
  • Anti-inflammatory.
Ingredients: Each 30 ml. (2 Tablespoons) contains resin of copaiba (Copaifera officinalis) 4.95 ml., excipients.
Advisory / Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. If conditions persist, consult your medical practitioner. Store in a place no more than 30º C. (86º F). No recommended for women who are pregnant or lactating. Do not replace existing therapies with the use of this product.
Doses: One dropper full before main meals.


Eucamiel ® -- Code: NG106 / Price: $15.00
Eucamiel ® is a cough syrup made from honey derived from bees feeding on eucalyptus. Approved indications for this product in Ecuador include:
  • Analgesic / anti-viral.
  • Gastric ulcers.
  • Chronic gastritis & internal wounds.
  • Rheumatism.
  • Cough, bronchitis, pharyngitis, flu, common cold, and allergic rhinitis.
Ingredients: Propolis, fluid extract, resin, 6 g. per 120 ml, or 50 mg. per ml., plus excipients. The product has a syrupy consistency and comes in a 240 ml. bottle.
Advisory / Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, consult your medical practitioner. Store in a place no more than 30º C. (86º F.)
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to this products components. Not recommended for women who are pregnant or lactating.
Dosage instructions: Adults: Take two cupfuls of 10 ml. each, using the attached dosification cup, or up to two tablespoons (30 ml.), three times a day. Children older than four years old: take one cupful of 10 ml., using the attached dosification cup, or up to one tablespoon (15 ml.), three times a day.

Garden ® is a topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory gel. Widely used for the neck and back. Treats bruises and sprains. Can be used on children, 11+. It relieves pain and inflammation and is used for:

  • Bumps and sprains

  • Stiffness and muscle pain
  • Inflammation of tendons

Active Ingredient: Sodium diclofenac (each 100 g. contains 0.650 g), plus excipients c.p.s.
Instructions: Apply to children over 11 years old and adults, 2 to 3 times a day on the affected area. Do not exceed this dosage frequency.
Contraindications: Do not apply on open wounds, avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. For external use only.

Garden Forte ® -- Code: GF-01 / Price: $12.70
Garden Forte ® is a topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory, stronger than Garden® and not recommended for children under 11.

Active Ingredient: Sodium diclofenac (each 100 g. contains 2.0 g, which itself contains 1.862 g. of diclofenac), plus excipients c.p.s.
Storage: Store the bottle tightly closed at room temperature not higher than 30°C (86°F) and in a dry place. Protect yourself from light.
Potential Adverse Reactions: Pruritus, redness, rash, or burning may occasionally occur. If applied to external surfaces for prolonged periods, the appearance of systemic side effects cannot be completely excluded. In such cases, information regarding analgesics and anti-inflammatories will be found.
Therapeutic indications: Relief of pain and inflammation in acute joint or traumatic processes, including tendinitis, sprains, distension and low back pain.
Dosage and method of use: Depending on the size of the painful area to be treated, it will spread 2 to 4 grams) on 5 to 10 cm of surface) three or four times a day and rub gently, it can also be applied in treatments associated with other anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications.
Precautions: Use only on intact skin, not on open wounds, mucosa or eczematous skin, avoid contact with the eyes. Do not expose the treated area to the sun. Do not use with occlusive bandages. Do not administer to patients who have had allergic reactions (rhinitis, asthma, pruritus, anglodema, urticaria, or shock) caused by acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs due to the possibility of cross hypersensitivity.

Ingredients: Each capsule contains: pancreatin, 170 mg.; dimetilpolisiloxano (simethicone 95%); expicients.

Dosage instructions: One to two capsules during or after meals. In preparation for x-ray and/or ultrasound examination in the abdominal area, take two capsules, three or four times a day in the two days leading up to the examination, and then two capsules on an empty stomach.

Prostalex ® with saw palmetto extract is a natural product with the following medical indications and properties:

Ingredients: Each 500 mg. capsule contains: powdered saw palmetto fruit, 75 mg.; dried extract of Achiote leaves (Bixa orellana), 50 mg.; powdered cat's claw bark (Uncaria tomentosa), 100 mg.,; powdered chanca piedra leaves (Phyllantus niruri), 70 mg.; powdered horsetail stems (Equisetum arvense), 40 mg.; excipientes.

Additional comments on mechanism of action: Saw palmetto inhibits the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), responsible for the overproduction of cells, which ultimately causes a healthy prostate. Achiote (Bixa orellana): The steriods in this plant are responsible for the anti-inflammatory properties that popular medicine attributes to it for use in prostatic inflammation. Also, due to the presence of flavonoids, it is used as an effective diuretic acting on the urogenital system and regulating renal function. Vitatoro ® is a energetic nutritional tonic with vitamins and minerals, fortified with iron sulfate; Vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, and Vitamin C. This product is indicated for:
  • Anemic diseases that require iron substitution by oral administration.
