The
Cancer cells starts building a firewall by preparing a thick coat of
adhesive protein fibrin, a coat that is some fifteen times thicker when
completed than the fibrin over normal cells. It does this by placing
protein fibrin into the cells membrane. By thickening the membrane in
this way a firewall is created that hides away the cancer cells
suspicious markings, including their antigens confusing the body’s
immune defenders.
