4. Contra-Indications During Operation

The main contra-indications during operation are:

individual intolerance of electric currents;
state of decompensation of the cardio-vascular system and lungs, aneurism, cardiac asthma;
disruption of the heart rhythm and conductivity (arrhythmia, paroxysmic tachycardia, stenocardia);
the presence of a heart-rhythm pacemaker in the treatment zone;
malignant or non-malignant growths, blood disorders;
active tuberculosis;
bleeding or suspected bleeding;
marked fatigue;
acute psychic distress;
cramps;
acute infection or fever;
thrombophlebitis (for application to the affected areas);
pregnancy (for application to the spine or stomach);
